The unique occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration (DJC) has illustrated the diversity and unity of the Ismaili community, as well as their commitment to serve. As part of the DJC registration process, thousands of volunteers from all over the world came forward and expressed their desire to contribute their time and energy for this historic event. This photo gallery highlights volunteers in action at Parque das Nações in Lisbon, where the DJC is taking place this week, and will be updated throughout the week.

In December 2017, Mawlana Hazar Imam travelled to Pakistan for his Diamond Jubilee visit. While there, he met with the Jamats in Islamabad and Karachi, and granted Diamond Jubilee Darbars to Jamats in Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan. While in Karachi, Mawlana Hazar Imam inaugurated the Aga Khan University Centre for Innovation in Medical Education, a state-of-the-art facility for technology-based learning for health professionals.
