Global Encounters harnesses and advances the potential of our Jamat through a wide variety of international initiatives. These initiatives are an opportunity for the Jamat, and particularly the youth, to come together and live our values, deepen our understanding, celebrate, share experiences, develop our talent, and strengthen our identity.

The Global Encounters logo shows Allah, The Incomparable, in a seven-sided geometric form. It is a step and repeat pattern depicting pathways to new opportunities and possibilities.
Global Encounters works across three domains:
- Youth Leadership and Development programmes include Global Encounters Camps for high school students; international internships with AKDN institutions for university students and recent graduates; and other leadership development initiatives.
- Arts, Culture & Heritage programmes offer the Jamat an opportunity to engage and create through the arts, and to learn about and experience our rich history, both virtually and through in-person travel expeditions. Global Encounters nurtures and supports artists in our Jamat through new collaborations and legacy initiatives such as Jubilee Arts and Heritage Journeys.
- Sports and Fitness programmes promote physical fitness, engagement in sports and the development of athletic talent. Programmes include rich virtual and signature international programming such as the Jubilee Games, and new initiatives to support exceptional athletic talent.
